Does Settler only work with APG sensors?

No, Settler is compatible with any 4-20 mA or Modbus RS485 sensor, not just APG sensors. It can connect to a wide range of industrial sensors, making it a flexible solution for various monitoring applications.

Does my sensor need external power when using Settler?

No, external power is not needed. Settler supplies power to the sensors using whatever voltage you provide. It supports a wide DC voltage range from 5V to 32V. If your sensor requires 24V, simply supply 24V to Settler, and it will handle the rest!

How easy is it to configure Settler?

Very easy! Explorer includes a wizard that makes configuring your Settler a breeze. Simply follow the step-by-step guide to set up reading registers, alarms, notifications, and more with ease! Navigate to the “Explorer User Manual” under “Product Documentation” for further instruction.

How do I monitor my sensors with Settler?

To monitor your sensors with Settler, you’ll need an Explorer account. Settler securely transmits sensor data to Explorer, APG’s cloud-based platform, where you can view real-time readings, set alarms, and manage your sensors remotely. Without Explorer, the data from Settler would not be accessible for monitoring or analysis.
