Having two technologies provides built-in redundancy. If radar is overtaken by liquid due to overfill or flooding, the pressure sensor takes over—ensuring continuous, reliable measurements in unexpected conditions.
The sensor will automatically transition between technologies, but keep in mind there is an 8-inch blind zone on the sensor. During this range, the radar will continue to report “full” until the pressure sensor takes over for accurate readings.
Not at all. Setup is just as straightforward as a single-technology sensor. If you get confused, simply refer to the install guide/user manual or give our team a call and we can walk you through it.
This dual sensor will not float when overtaken by liquid. The sensor is designed to stay in place—even when fully submerged. A weighted ring at the bottom ensures the unit remains stable and properly oriented, preventing it from floating or shifting during high-level conditions.
The TRUE ECHO Plus Dual Sensor can be easily connected to APG’s Settler Remote Monitoring Gateway for remote monitoring access.
